It seems like Renault has changed their logo and has taken a bit of inspiration from the past. Their website seems to have the old logo, but social media has this logo instead.

Re: Another High Street Rebrand

I drove past my local Gala Bingo yesterday and the signs had been taken down, so I assumed it had closed down, but maybe they're just waiting for the new signs instead? It appears they’re getting rebranded to Buzz Bingo. Warrington’s Gala Bingo has relaunched this week: http://www.warringtonguardia...

Re: Intu takeover called off

Does anyone ever call any of their shopping centres intu.... ? Reason I ask is that when they acquired The Trafford Centre a few years ago, it got rebranded as intu Trafford Centre, and no one I know calls it that. I’m assuming it’s not really a strong brand? To be fair to them they haven’t really c...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

I’ve had a read back over the first few pages of this thread. Hard to believe we were discussing the introduction of smoking areas into the cafes of former Safeway stores to bring them into line with existing Morrisons stores. Hard to believe now, the Cafes phased out smoking in early 2006. Quite s...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

Been a while since I’ve posted here. Anyway I’m not sure if it’s something Morrisons are doing nationwide or whether it is on some of the older non-Safeway stores, the Morrisons in Warrington (where I used to work a while ago) is currently going through an extensive refurbishment. Basically they are...

Re: Moyles for XFM?

Radio X, yuck. Chris Moyles, Vernon Kay and Johnny Vaughan.... f*ck no! Anyway it appears Manchester and London are both losing their locality for one national service. Needless to say the news hasn't gone down too well on XFM Manchester, although the new station doesn't begin until 21 September, th...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake

Which store does that? Warrington Golden Square does, I think it's only that one and one other store I believe. They seem to be promoting their food offers at the front with the foodhall at the back, and if I'm honest with you it's still a very quiet store, nowhere busy as it used to be, I don't th...

Re: The Tesco & Other non-Morrisons Supermarket Thread

Interesting they're closing the Runcorn store, but not surprising. In the last few years it was rebranded as Tesco Metro, it lies within the Halton Lea Shopping Centre (or Shopping City as it's known locally) and it has been there probably for as long as the centre has, which has been the last forty...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

I'm disappointed to see Dalton Philips going. He has always struck me as having the right ideas, and it certainly doesn't reflect well that the former board, who made a huge catalogue of errors when integrating Safeway, have been harping on about how everything he's done is wrong. It isn't his faul...

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread

I ordered my card online, I got that and two key fobs sent with it in the post.

Anyone else used Morrisons.com by the way? I was pleasantly surprised of how good it was, the driver came 1 minute after the hour timeslot and got my delivery free which was good.
