Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

There is some kind of pattern emerging here, the only other time I had the featured post on the home page was picking somebody up on a half arsed argument just before they flounced off too.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Loving the irony in the Election thread Sunday night 11pm WHAT!!!? I've booked Friday 24th off work so I could watch through Thursday night! It should be vote Thursday, results by Friday morning. Thank God we're leaving this backward arrangement! A Leave supporter making a decision having failed to ...

Why has D.Page been banned?
He decided to quit the forum.
Over someone using one of "his" captures?
A bit embarrassing that my slightly grumpy post regarding the capture thing is now pride of place on the front of TVF because it got lots of kudos.

Re: StreetView and You

Streetview now accepts user generated 360 degree panoramas, which it stitches together if they are close enough. You're supposed to do the blurring yourself before uploading (via their awful, awful app) but a lot of people don't seem to bother, so I guess there is now more scope to be on there.

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

I really hope he chooses to return, but at the same time I hope he accepts that people may wish to discuss things that he may not agree with or consider worthy of or appropriate for discussion. I agree with this, but I think also taking a step back and remembering that it's not the "ask Skygeek" th...

Re: TV Forum Watch News and Information Board

Having also been named in that post, I'm not dignifying it with a response on TVF, although I'm not sure why I've been mentioned when I haven't actually posted in that thread.

Still, I guess TV Forum bore is better than TV Forum banned, which I think that little outburst probably merits.

Re: The BIG MetroPoll - IN or OUT ?

I think the position needs to be that if the deal the country was promised - access to the free market without free movement - can not be achieved then we mustn't leave.

In some ways it's a pity Boris won't have to pick up the pieces.

Re: The BIG MetroPoll - IN or OUT ?

Been having quite an interesting exchange of emails with my MP about this farce. ( Not the MP my username implies) I suggested that the fact that Leave won based on lies cannot go unrecognised, he tells me that he chose not to actively campaign because of dodgy claims from both sides including the "...

Have I missed a subtle piss take or is this a serious question?

Re: The BIG MetroPoll - IN or OUT ?

The Remain campain really has the easier job here because they are campaigning for the status quo, everyone knows what they are getting if they vote to stay. Well not quite. We are supposedly voting now for Cameron's Reformed EU. Although nobody is aware of what the hell that is, they certainly don...
