Surely a vote for Kay is a vote for sanity. As an aside, the official mark on that ballot paper is in completely the wrong place. Not only is it meant to be in the top left hand corner of the paper, it's also not meant to bisect any printed lines. Whereas yours is halfway down the page, almost stamp...

I know the sort. Luckily (I suppose), I can't drive, so I don't have to deal with those little twats on a day to day basis. But I went to school with a couple so I can understand your anger. Mind you, they're especially stupid to go up against a Jag. I know nothing about cars but I do know, between ...

Ah, yes, but we're back to the faith problem. It would be very easy for God to do that, if he was about, but it would render faith as a concept rather pointless. The idea is that we have to have faith regardless of all other evidence that he does, in fact, exist - we have to use our free will to mak...

Hello, Corin!

Nice to see you again.

Here's Westminster. A bit haughty and superior, as you would imagine. I've never been too keen on the yellow and blue combination though. Suppose it's an improvement on the old green and blue.

I have only been IDed once - when I was 19. Most people, though, seem to think I am rather older than I am. When I started at work everybody assumed I was about 28 or 29. Ever since I was about 17 people have thought I was in my late twenties - although why that hasn't changed as I have actually bec...

I love trams, they're marvellous. Especially the ones in Blackpool. Every time I go up to visit my dad I hop on the tram to visit my grandma in Bispham.

Is that First Group corporate livery I see on that Tramlink tram? How depressing.

I'd say keep with it as well. You might not end up with a decent job afterward straight away, but as you progress you'll find that more and more jobs you'll want to do will demand as an essential prerequisite that you have a degree. A lot of job adverts say "or equivalent experience gained thro...

Yes. The making of a reservation is only a collateral contract. Or an invitation to treat. Or something like that. I've forgotten contract law. Anyway, you don't have to pay. Besides, what would they get you to pay anyway? Even if it was a set menu, they'd be plucking a largely random figure from mi...

You could make an FOI request but it would probably be refused. Many civil defence plans have stayed largely similar (in terms of plans for mass evacuations, martial law etc) and as such the old plans would probably give away many of the contents of the new plans, so they'd be subject to the nationa...

I found English Language GCSE to be more difficult to get a handle on than the Lit paper. That said, I got a higher grade in English Language. Like everyone else in the world, my text for Lit was Lord of the Flies, but for Shakespeare we did Othello, which is actually one of the more bearable plays....

Cheers Row. The bugger is that the digital camera cost about £200, which is about the amount of the excess on my contents insurance, which makes making a claim somewhat pointless. Oh well. Household insurance will pay for the door though. I'm with Mark on the "beating them to death" debate...
