Re: Phone calls and emails.

Actually, that is quite interesting, my mom has a mobile, and every couple of weeks she gets a phone call from the same person, asking for Mike, and time after time she's said that they've got the wrong number, but it still happens, but I think that might just be ignorance as opposed to cdd's problem.

Re: Phone calls and emails.

We've already got a phone that displays it, but because I get a lot of calls from America, and my dad has business over there, can't really screen them, but I do like the idea of using the mobile.

Cheers for the help.

Phone calls and emails.

So recently, I think from Friday, we keep getting International phone calls asking if they can do a survey, Got about 3 on Saturday, 1 yesterday, and waiting for one today surely! Just wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of this? It's clear that somebody's sold off our details, or I think my da...

Re: Faking your email address?

Haha - cheers for the help all, no, nothing illegal going on with me, you won't be getting any blue pills being sold to you by me, it's for an IT training course at work, one of the courses is email in Outlook etc, I just thought it might add a bit of realism to it.

Cheers to all again.

Re: Faking your email address?

No, I meant the demonstrations of it in the Apple Stores, there's an email that comes from lochart-travel.com, and another from something like grand-tribecahotel.com.

I've been looking round and I think it's called masquerading, it's just that none of the results seem to help...

Faking your email address?

I've seen in a few places now, email addresses being shown that don't exist, or the domains don't exist, ie: me.com, the name of the hotel and travel company are fictitious and the domain in the email does not work. So, I was wondering how this is possible? If it is commercially anyway, as I'd like ...

Yeah, but that's the original iPhone, and I doubt that's an Orange Store.

Re: O2 Network Outages?

Try dialing "112" to see if it's all networks in your area. If you get a response, then it's just O2. After some consideration I think I should add a StuartPlymouth style disclaimer not to try this. However anyone stupid enough to do this deserves whatever hassle they get. Haha, Things se...

O2 Network Outages?

Is it just me or is the network constantly out of signal? I get one bar tops and still get "call failed". After quick googling, it's happened before too, but 2006 was the only date I saw. Dad's having the same problem, and think I heard someone on the bus says it's not working too. Anyone ...
