Tick when full? Yes fundamentally it is simply a glorified version of McDonald's/Caffe Nero stamp cards. Probably there was some sort of "Lookup" command on Argos/BP tills that could tell you the card's balance, but as they had "no expiry" (other than the death of the scheme as a whole), it wasn't ...

I do take issue with a magstripe card being called "electronic" however!

I've often thought of milk in litre bottles as a shrinkflation tactic, you're not alone there!! Has anyone else noticed Co-op branded products appearing in Mace stores? My local petrol station has a Mace convenience store which since the death of P&H has been utterly dire in terms of range and price...

It's not a move that suggests faith in the brand certainly.
But doesn't this thread point towards a slow influx of Morrisons? Particularly with the unnecessarily tri-branded posters announcing the arrival of Safeway products. A longer term plan than we thought?
