Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
One thing I've noticed is Asdas aren't clean any more. They were always completely spotless, which I suspect was due to having a well resourced in-house cleaning team rather than an outsourced skeleton staff like others. I'm not sure if they've outsourced or cut hours or what, but the stores have go...

Taco Bell in dundee is in the city centre and has like 4 seats. Meaning you can't drive there without paying a load for parking, and if you walk in you've got to take the food outside and have it stolen by a seagull.

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread
I think Burger King snuck their price rises in beforehand so it seems less bad now. You also get the unlimited refills... or at least nobody ever questions you using the freestyle machines endlessly. Costa's food is extortionate now. The breakfast wrap is now £5.50 which means if you have that and a...

Re: The Very Official McDonalds (and other fast food outlets) Thread
Seems suspiciously like an AI rewrite of the first post in the thread. They've done it with the public transport thread too. I don't even understand the point of having bots that do this. Hi James, not 100% sure this user is a bot or not. There's usually other clues which aren't here this time. Wil...

Re: There an election this year.....
The SNP collapse was much bigger than I expected, even Dundee moved from a 12,000 safe seat to a 645 marginal. What I find odd is the suggestion that reform's vote share is somehow surprising. It's the same UKIP got in 2015 when they came second in several places, before said vote being reabsorbed i...

Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
Was asked about potential new 'Nectar Price' SEL designs in a survey: https://up.metropol247.co.uk/scottishtv/2406_nectar_sel_designs.png I believe this is to allow the introduction of esels - at the moment the use of Nectar purple on the ticket itself is a blocker. In what way? Are those plastic c...

Re: Old supermarket signage
The Tesco Express in town has had its main outside sign updated to the new one with the branch name and Est 2012.
Interestingly it has the lower 15% in that stupid wood effect. it looks awful.

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread
you can't get your more points added on retrospectively either. and given that the app is always timing out and the pay at pump doesn't give you much time that's not ideal not sure if you could get them added in the main store. the people in the petrol station seemed completely disconnected from the...

Re: Pres Cafe Watch News and Information Board
Pete, you seem a sound fellow... so I don't quite understand why you and others here are so keen to stifle any negative discussion about Pres Café? I have no issue with people discussing or criticising Pres Cafe. I have issues with the site, and tbh preferred TVLF, I simply don't use it enough to b...
