Re: Public Transport in your particular part of the region

There's a couple of reasons for a lot of the rolling stock replacement. The HSTs, in their original form, are now illegal to run due to their lack of accessibility. I've managed to end up with a mountain of about 10 free coffee cards bc by the time you've reached the window of the drive thru they just shove the chip and pin machine at you and you're on your way. They don't ask for the voucher and I'll have forgotten to hand it over so I just get a free coffee.

Re: Baffling local news stories

Why is this categorised as "Scottish news"? It's about Fatty from the Beano's Bash Street Kids being renamed Freddy (for political correctness reasons, no doubt). Beano isn't only sold in Scotland, so this is national news, not local. https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/bash-street-kids-fatty-f...

save perhaps for the tobacco kiosk and a packing area for those checkouts they do open. oh do Aldi/Lidl not sell fags anymore? They used to have that wee tambour thing that would open next to the belt when they opened the checkout. Did they just stop entirely with the hiding them behind things law?
